A: We provide industrial grade and food grade anhydrous sodium sulfite. Industrial grade ≥96% /97% purity; food grade ≥98% purity with strict heavy metal control.
Q: 2. Troubled by confusion between anhydrous sodium sulfite and sodium metabisulfite? What is the core difference?
A: Anhydrous sodium sulfite is odorless with weakly alkaline solution, suitable for alkaline processes. Sodium metabisulfite releases SO₂ and its solution is acidic. They cannot be substituted arbitrarily according to working conditions.
Q: 3. Why does anhydrous sodium sulfite lose effectiveness after long storage?
A: It is easily oxidized by air and turns into sodium sulfate. Keep packages tightly sealed and store in cool & dry warehouse to slow oxidation.
Q: 4. Can I get samples for testing? What is your MOQ?
A: Small samples are available. MOQ is 25 tons for full container; small trial orders can be negotiated.
